Organisational background

We are a joint Venture Practice based on social enterprise at Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

Organisation aims & mission

To provide affordable vet care to the local community whilst caring for the animals and funding Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

Let Toby take you on a tour of the practice!

Fair prices, supporting charity, well equipped, respect for everyone.

We’re a busy, well equipped independent practice, with a supportive team, and great hours allowing an excellent work/life balance in a lovely area of the country. A large share of any profit funds Cheltenham Animal Shelter. No OOH, Saturdays 1 in 12 (AM consults only), and very competitive package/benefits.

Keen, dedicated, easy-going, and able to fit into a busy practice.

Enhanced maternity package available dependent on length of service. Very favourable rota.

We have a flexible working policy in place which is open to all employees.

We are an equal opportunities employer. We have a policy in place that promotes diversity, equality and inclusion in the practice and throughout our recruitment process.

We have an active environmental sustainability policy, and plans in place to continue to explore areas we can implement new initiatives in.

Regular reviews with all employees. We are very much an open-to-discussion practice when thinking about career progression. We want to support all of our staff where we can to achieve their goals and continue to grow the services we can offer

We run various schemes to assist clients financially where possible, to ensure access to veterinary treatment can be sought.

We have recently undergone our RCVS Practice Standards assessment for General Practice accreditation.
