We are a large, mixed veterinary practice in rural Dorset. Species-specific teams (pets, farm and equine) deliver a high-quality service to our clients.

  • COMPASSION – we care about your horse and understand your needs.
  • DEDICATION – we are always there for emergencies and with you as we help your horse together.
  • COLLABORATION – we work closely with other professionals with a common goal for your horse.
  • SUPPORTIVE – we are a team and pull together to share our resources.
  •

COMPANY AIMS

1. To be the veterinary provider of choice for horse owners in Dorset

a) for all their needs

b) for all types of horse (discipline).

2. To be a supportive and caring environment for our team to work and thrive in.

OUR MISSION:

  • We provide emergency ambulatory services 24/7.
  • Routine care and planned investigations will be provided in collaboration with our clients, understanding both their and their horse’s needs
  • We have access to specialist partners who will work with us, preferentially locally.
  • We will support the personal and professional development of team members to help them grow and provide excellent service.

It is like being a part of a large family. Many of our staff have been here for a long time, have been trained, developed and grown, married and had their children whilst being here. As a result, there is a supportive and friendly vibe.

We know our clients and patients well because we cater for all their animal needs across the species spectrum. There is opportunity to grow professionally in whichever area you are interested in

We are seeking a practical and friendly ‘all-round’ ambulatory equine vet. Someone who can competently deal with the variety of work being a first-opinion ‘roady’, but also develop areas of special interest.

Practical good sense and client communication to give confidence are priorites.
