Organisational background

  • We are a small and friendly independent veterinary practice located in South West Sheffield on the doorstep of the Peak District.
  • Our professional team is committed to providing quality care and treatment to our patients, small or large.
  • The practice is owned by Ewa Sadkowska and her Partner Aleksander Jaki. They have owned the practice since 2016 and since then have seen tremendous growth on both the large animal and small animal sides. Green Veterinary Practice is a family-run, truly mixed practice in South Yorkshire, independent and staying this way.
  • We are happy to advise that we are not bound by sales targets for things such as food, allowing the vets to really concentrate on providing exceptional care for their patients.

Organisation aims & mission

Our main goal is to provide high quality honest veterinary care. We value client relations by providing in-depth honest treatment plans that the client fully understands.

  • We value honesty, integrity, and hard work.
  • The people: we are a tight-knit group of people with a range of experience and clinical interests, including an extensive team of veterinary nurses, receptionists, and animal care assistants.
  • The work: we have a very varied caseload and have access to great equipment such as digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory, and much more to assist in diagnosis. Happy for clinical freedom for an experienced vet, however a friendly supportive team that is willing to assist in cases for less experienced staff members.

We are looking for a qualified veterinary surgeon who values high standards of care and compassion. One who wishes to develop their career by furthering their skills, knowledge, and learning development.

The ideal candidate would have clinical experience, however, we are able to provide support for the right recent graduate. This role will expose you to a variety of cases, allowing you to manage your cases and clinical work. There are fantastic opportunities for developing your medical and surgical skills, including the potential to complete a certificate.

To join our well-established team we are looking for a qualified veterinary surgeon who values high standards of care and compassion.
