Organisational background

Based in Kinross-shire, just north of Edinburgh our practice is a family-run, independent, first opinion and referral equine practice. Our traditional family values inspire us to deliver quality veterinary care to our patients and their owners and we pride ourselves on offering a personal service that is caring and compassionate. We love building long-standing relationships with our clients who have a mix of pleasure and sports horses for us to look after.

Our purpose-built clinic has full surgical facilities as well as excellent resources for orthopaedic, medical and dental workups. We have a team of experienced equine nurses including an Equine RVN who provides fantastic backup for our vets as well as looking after our in-patients as if they were their own.

But what makes Loch Leven Equine Practice really special is our longstanding team. Although we have multiple certificate holders in the practice, we spend time and resources to develop and nurture everyone, no matter your job role.
