Organisational background

We are creating a brand new OOH service within the VetPartners family, through a partnership between Hale and Garden Veterinary Groups.

Nightingale Emergency Vets will be based at the superbly equipped Hale Veterinary Hospital in Chippenham and be supported by the management teams, and other colleagues at Hale and Garden. They are RCVS accredited & have ISFM Silver status. The practice is very close to an M4 junction, as well as being five minutes away from the train station, making it an easily accessible hospital for clients and team members.

The local area has a lot to offer – we are close to the coast, the Cotswolds, as well as big cities such as Bristol, Bath, and Swindon. We are also only an hour from London by train. From sea to city life to countryside, we have it all!

Our Vision

  • Provide local, accessible, superbly equipped, gold standard small animal OOH care for the community in and around the Chippenham and Corsham areas.

Our Mission

  • To deliver gold standard care through clinical work ups, client continuity, and wrap-around services in partnership with the day teams at Hale and Garden Veterinary Groups.
  • To achieve a positive 'one team' working culture with respect and work-life balance at it's core.
  • To have a collective growth mindset to ensure continuous improvement as a team and individually.
  • Approachable. We create a culture of warmth and belonging.
  • Respectful. We respect one another: We listen and everyone’s opinion counts. We act with humility, empathy and integrity.
  • Collaboration. We work together, in true partnership with team members and our clients.
  • Support. We develop and nurture, recognise team members’ talents, and support development of potential to maximise performance.
  • Show commitment and accountability. We’re solution focused and accountable. We look for better ways to do things. We’re resilient, adaptable and self-aware.

Behaviors

  • Teamwork. We create a working environment where day and night teams collaborate and each contributes to the shared goal of patient care, via a ‘one team’ mentality.
  • Positive mentality. We create an environment that is energised, stimulating, and encouraging. We want you to be happy and to recognise the unique value you bring to your work.
  • Effective communication. We create an inclusive environment with positive communication with both colleagues and clients.
  • Evolve our care. We embrace new treatments and develop our skillsets to provide care of the highest quality.
