Organisation Background

Staveley and Shirebrook are in North East Derbyshire. None of our team members live in either town, we leave that to the clients... thankfully, Sheffield, Nottingham and The Peak District are all nearby.

We opened at Staveley in 2019 and Shirebrook in 2020. Our third site (in Mansfield) is currently undergoing renovation (don't worry, you don't need to work there too).

Our ethos is good quality care (which we don't believe always means gold standard if that isn't what the client wants), at a fair price. Yes, occasionally that means clients leave because we are straight-talking and (sometimes brutally) honest, fear not, their place is immediately taken by someone else who values this approach.

Our organisation values and culture?

  • We're a sweary, varied and slightly bonkers bunch!
  • Tattoos, piercings and brightly coloured hair are completely welcome.
  • We will look out for you 100% (and soon you'll be doing likewise).
  • Don't dread coming to work, join our laughter-filled workplace instead.
  • We won't tolerate abuse of our team, or wasting of their time, so frequently sack clients for being obnoxious or repeatly failing to attend.

We try to make every day as fun and entertaining as possible due to our strong focus on mental health. We also always want to keep getting better, which means we get the whole team involved in sharing new ideas and making changes.

Current team Stats:

  • 85% Introvert 10% Extrovert 5% Nice
  • 60% Slytherin / 30% Gryffindor / 5% Ravenclaw / 5% Hufflepuff
  • 40% Brightly coloured hair
  • 65% Tattooed and pierced

We are more than happy to discuss part time and flexible working- nothing is set in stone.
